What Is My Energy Field & What Does It
Do?
Your energy field is integral to all aspects of your life
processes - how your physical body operates, the state of
your emotions, the workings of your mind, and your spiritual
life.
The energy in this field is active and
intelligent. It is conscious and provides the connection,
between the Universal energy field, or 'sea' and the
physical world that we live in.
It is scientifically proven that our bodies
have an energy field called the Aura, which can be detected
and filmed using an electromagnetic process known as Kirlian
photography.
Auras have been described metaphysically as
the radiation of a person's spiritual energy combined with
the effects of thoughts and feelings being projected at
them.
The energy fields in the body can be
treated. Reiki is one example of an energy treatment and
there are many others, such as EFT.
What Is The Universal Energy Field?
Quantum physics is the science about the ‘building
blocks’ of the Universe. These building blocks are
subatomic particles, the things that make up atoms.
Interestingly, although we call them
particles they have a "dualistic" existence. This
means they can exist as either energy waves or particles
depending upon circumstances.
Most of the time they behave as energy waves
and can be thought of as waves moving in a universal energy
sea.
Every living thing is interconnected at a
fundamental level via this world of quantum physics and our
physical world originates from this quantum physical ‘sea
of energy’. This sea of energy provides the source energy
that connects and supports all life.
How Is My Energy Field Linked To My Health?
Its simple. If your energy field is clear, free flowing,
healthy and free from defects, you can expect good health,
in all aspects - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
However, if dysfunctional patterns are
present in your energy field, then the flow of energy within
the field may become weak or erratic, impure, and unbalanced
or blocked.
This prevents your full and healthy
experience of life and blocks the natural energy flow that
is a requirement for your physical, emotional, mental and
spiritual well-being.
The cause is often negative or traumatic
experiences in your past that have created faulty energy
patterns, which are then stored in your energy field. (Think
of yourself as a battery storing the positive or negative
emotional energies arising from your experiences in life).
This eventually leads to problems because
the faulty, or disrupted energy patterns inhibit the healthy
and balanced functioning of your body, mind and spirit.

How Does Energy-Based Healing Work?
Energy healing is more than a physical “curing”. Because
it operates on the energy at the core of your being, it
causes healing across the whole spectrum of health -
physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Essentially, as an energy field healing
treatment is performed, the healer ‘transfers’ extra
universal, life energy into you, the patient.
The role of the healer thus, is to assist
your to restore, or 'smooth' your flow of energy to its
strong, natural and healthy state and correct any defects
that are present.
This helps you to restore and maintain
health to your body, emotions, mind and spirit.
This process treats what may be the ultimate
cause of your disease. The treatment of disturbances in your
energy field, often assists in the resolution of a disease
condition which has already manifested in your physical
body, or in your mental and emotional life.
How Can I Help Myself?
1. Take on that your body has (or is) an energy system and
is not just a mechanical-chemical machine.
2. Investigate which energy treatments that

3. Be aware that repressed emotions –
anger, sadness, resentment, upsets etc are stored in your
body as negative energy. These negative energies interfere
with the energy flow and your health, especially your back

4. Take on a practice to empty your mind of
the dross of life. E.g. meditate, practice yoga, use a
support group, have a buddy system - anything that helps you
to clear your mind.
